DIVArchive™ V6.3
DIVArchive™ V6.3, the latest version of the DIVArchive content storage management (CSM) system, is capable of full integration with popular media industry editing and production tools including Avid® Interplay®, Apple® Final Cut Pro®, and Apple Final Cut Server. The latest release of DIVArchive offers integration with Avid Interplay, making it easier for users of Avid's industry-leading media asset management system to access content stored under DIVArchive management. New DIVArchive features include multiresolution object support, sub-clip partial restore, best-effort restore, advanced Avid asset search within the DIVArchive user interface, and full Unicode asset support.

DIVArchive V6.3 represents a significant advance for an industry-leading archive system, which is proven in more than 360 broadcast applications worldwide. Another new feature for DIVArchive V6.3 is full Unicode support for storage plan manager, the component that automatically manages the content life cycle based on advanced and fully configurable business rules and policies. DIVArchive V6.3 also incorporates Front Porch Digital's DIVAprotect as a standard feature. By continually monitoring the digital storage infrastructure including connected broadcast devices, network connectivity, transcoder engine performance, and other key system parameters, DIVAprotect guards precious content against the ravages of data tape and drive degradation.

DIVAdirector™ V4.1
Front Porch Digital DIVAdirector™ V4.1 is an easy-to-use and cost-effective media asset management (MAM) system that enables operators, using their Web browsers, to search, locate, and retrieve stored media assets directly from their desktops. At IBC2010, Front Porch Digital introduces V4.1, which adds a revamped and simplified browser interface; support for identification and retrieval of clips with noncontiguous timecode (very important for the archivist and preservation community); partial-restore format auto-detection to further simplify user interaction with the complex format/wrapper challenges handled by DIVArchive; and management of remote proxies without the need for their replication specifically for DIVAdirector. In addition, DIVAdirector V4.1 offers enhanced integration with Front Porch Digital's SAMMA Solo system, the compact, turnkey, single-stream solution for migrating media content from fragile videotape to secure, long-term digital storage.

Front Porch Digital has enhanced the global versatility, interoperability, and functionality of the fourth generation of its SAMMA family of products for migrating media content from videotape to safe, secure, and readily accessible file-based formats. SAMMA V4 core products — SAMMA Solo, SAMMA Robot, SAMMA Prep, and SAMMA Clean — will each debut new versions at IBC2010.

DIVAsolo™ V4
DIVAsolo™ V4 incorporates full integration with the world's most popular NLE systems. Front Porch Digital's DIVAsolo is a first-of-its-kind turnkey migration, content storage management (CSM), and media asset management (MAM) solution. The DIVAsolo system combines a SAMMA Solo encoding appliance with the company's flagship DIVArchive™ CSM solution and its DIVAdirector™ MAM. Besides adding Apple® Final Cut® and Avid® Interplay® integration, the new DIVAsolo V4 features direct VTR control, automatic shot-list generation, key-frame extraction, dynamic metadata collection, full desktop Web browser access to all migrated assets, and an LTO-based data tape robotic system to store and protect all migrated assets.

DIVAsymphony™
Front Porch Digital will also make its European debut of DIVAsymphony™, an advanced service oriented architecture (SOA) framework for the industry-leading DIVArchive™ content storage management (CSM) solution. DIVAsymphony unites the complex operations of DIVArchive with the simplicity of an SOA-based architecture to yield a unified and agile approach to third-party integration. Front Porch Digital's new DIVAsymphony leverages best practices from IT enterprise architectural design to simplify DIVArchive's integration of third-party products for both control and content exchange. Built around an enterprise service bus (ESB), DIVAsymphony allows other service-based technologies to integrate into DIVArchive directly.

For DIVArchive customers, the SOA framework of DIVAsymphony enables enhanced integrated workflows and operational reliability for a streamlined, end-to-end value chain; potential reduction of hardware acquisition costs; and accelerated development of customized applications.
