Italian NTT DATA has developed a solution called "NRT Encoding" for SKY Italy that by applying innovative processes on the compression of linear channels broadcast via satellite, can reduce up to 40% bandwidth consumption required, with the same quality.

During a recent press conference in Milan Dolby through his European managers Díaz-Valdés Alonso and Philip Arletti, after drawing some fundamental audio concepts, passed on to the basic contemporary idea that of "how to increase the audio experience in sporting events" in the shade of the most recent advancements in Dolby technology.
Florence-based company Telerecord has in the last few years diversified its business in order to capitalise on its experience gained in the field. As well as being a broadcast supplier with a variety of OB units in its arsenal, the company is also active as a systems integrator that constructs and sells complete, ready-to-use OB units.
