A few weeks ago, SKY Italia commissioned Telerecord, a well-known Florentine TV production service, a "test match" in 4K HDR for Italian Serie B match, Empoli Venezia.
The match was held at Empoli and the event is beyond the "typical" production that is usually realized in HD.
The test was carried out in HDR in view of future broadcasts in the next season.
The match was broadcast on Sky Sports in HD and those who already own the latest SkyQ decoder could watch the game in 4K HDR.
All in the heart of the stadium
Juventus TV, the sat tv channel created by the Italian Serie A homonymous soccer team, was completely renewed in 2106.
All media AV contents are made directly bu the editorial team under the direction of Claudio Zulliani within the Allianz Stadium in Turin.

For the technical production of some of the most prestigious competitions of the World Ski Cup 2017-2018 Alpine skiing, the two Italian tv production companies Betamedia and DBW, joining forces, engaged the OB-Van "Esterna 14".
The Esterna 14 is an innovative FlexIP-Van that uses massively IP technology with 2022-7 signal routing.
For the first time in Europe, therefore, a full IP system was involved in the Alpine skiing television production, 2018 edition.
In particular, the Men's Special Slalom in Madonna di Campiglio, the Classic Tre-Tre, the Men's Down Hill in Bormio and the Classic Women's downhill on the Olympic slope at the Tofane in Cortina D'Ampezzo were produced in IP.
Six months of preparation, three shifts per 24 hours a day with a team of 40/50 people each, a technical crew of about twenty people and investments in infrastructure and equipment for 700 thousand euros.
Really important numbers for a truly impressive engagement, the production for Discovery-Eurosport concerning the 2018 Winter Olympics in Korea.
The engagement is signed by 3Zero2 Tv, an Italian company from Cologno Monzese, well known in the broadcast market for no less important past than today's adventures.
Rosario Messina technical manager of Betamedia reflects on how the modern television production today can face sports with different approaches:
