9th July 2012. According to a recent announcement, Italian state broadcaster RAI choses again a national company with headquarters in Santa Maria a Monte near Pisa -ClassX- for all graphics lineup of London 2012 Olympics.
After Beijing Olympics in 2008, Vancouver 2010, even London 2012 will see 3D and HD live animated graphics developed on the new software CoralCG.

The company develops innovative 2D/3D CG solutions for post-production, broadcast and television industry. Many are the solutions ranging from database-driven graphics templates creation, instant on-air graphics, audio/video playout on limitless 2D/3D layers.
The OEM products have been already integrated into the most important 3rd party playouts and newsrooms systems all around the world like well known broadcasters names like RAI, Mediaset and Sky in Italy, RSI (Swiss Radiotelevision), ISSF (International Shooting Sport Federation) in Germany, AlfaIsaliah in Arabia Saudi, VGTRK in Russia, and many others.
All ClassX solutions support many different devices already on the market: BlackMagic DeckLink, BlueFish, Matrox, Dayang, Aja and NewTek Tricaster through iVGA.
All softwares are fully localized in english and of course support arabic as well as other languages and character sets.

Another proof -if necessary- of the diffusion of ClassX softwares is the adoption by Italian state broadcaster RAI of ClassX products during the London 2012 Olympic Games. The main software adopted will be CoralCG a product conceived for titles and caption insertion with 3D graphics, that will be used in every sport program and event, from swimming to rhythmic gymnastics.
Alessandro Messineo goes on: “When I say titles insertion we mean not only to the usual captions, but also the charts, live and real time results, information points, video inserts with 3D animations stings, signature tunes, station breaks and animated inserts graphics of every kind.
All this is made possible by the advanced 3D functions integrated in CoralCG just like animated textures, multi-lights, 3D models import, shaders, camera movements and others.
ClassX may boast among the many international customers BBC Radio using exactly this same 3D software, CoralCG 3D, and in Italy RepubblicaTV an Italian channel completely generated by ClassX softwares, Radio Italia, Deejay TV, Snai, again with live around the clock ClassX softwares generated transmissions, MatchMusic, TV2000, A.C. Fiorentina football team with live on air transmissions delivered on maxi screen within the A. Franchi Stadium.
Among the main feature, the possibility of combining more animated textures in any format and projects, video from files or live sources on every screen importing live 3D inserts with multiple lights and camera tracking. Plus tickers with images and multi color texts, smart auto sequences, interacting with any element, and again effects applied on plugins. All software can operate on 32 and 64Bit Processors, Dual Core, Quad Core, Xeon, no matter what system, showing no incompatibilities.
