From the 24th to the 27th of October the final of the “Ferrari Challenge” trophy, or “Corse Clienti”, was held.

Also this year, Sky Italia in Milan Santa Giulia headquarters hosted the annual "SVG Sport Summit" 2019 workshop. The event, which took place all day on July 9th, opened by Fergal Ringrose, SVG Europe editorial director, was moderated by Manuela Baraschi, head of business partners & program management, Riccardo Botta, production, broadcast & creative director, Rossella De Vivo , head of production & creative hub, and Cristina Villella, head of studios. The various sessions involved a very dense panel of Italian TV services and particularly distinguished broadcast operators in the field of sports production.
From 16 to 30 June Italy was the home of the UEFA European Under-21 Championship, played in the stadiums of Bologna, Reggio Emilia, Cesena, San Marino, Trieste and Udine, where the final took place on 30th June.
The all-important sporting event was entirely produced by UEFA and the technological partner chosen for the production of all the events was the Italian Global Production, which recently joined the international media group Euro Media Group.
